DIEGO HEERO MAAGINEN

An agent of madness born on the 22nd of september 1992, Diego is the composer and bassist of Aryem. He studied musical composition in the faculty of music of the UNAM, and specialized in orchestrations and symphonic composing.

His experience in music is vast. He worked for a year in Televisa as a composer, has worked as a producer and engineer in many studios, has written music for many theatre plays, youtube channels, documentaries and short films, and has composed symphonic arrangements for Tex-Tex and Alberto Pedraza, to name a few.

In 2016, he released the album "Inside Emotions" with the international symphonic metal band "Words Unspoken". This release got him acclaim and praise from many personalities in the music industry, including Plamen Dimov from Finland, Anna Fiori from México and Andy Brock of the Eurometal Express Show from England. Lyrical Spell Magazine, an online magazine sponsored by Nuclear Blast, claimed  he was a "Visionary Genius that could rival anything Tuomas Holopainen or Oliver Palotai can come up with."

He cites his main influences to be Danny Elfman, Beethoven, Brahms, Stravinsky, Mahler, John Williams, Shostakovich, Mussorgsky and Alan Menken. He has stated his main inspiration is the insanity and passion that revolve within human emotions.

He is a firm believer of core values, saying Honor, Excelence, Bravery, Loyalty, Disciplince, Consistance, Respect, Honesty and Love form his code by which he leads his life.

Diego is very enthusiastic of norse culture, studying viking combat and culture in Ormbitur, and in his spare time loves taking long hikes in the forest, camping, reading historical books and mystery novels, and loves musical theatre. He is also an avid fan of playing board games and video games with his friends.

It is well known and advised to stand clear of his bass guitar during performances, for he tends to accidentally smack himself (and anyone in the vicinity) full in the face atleast twice per gig.
